We're offering a Creative Director's level of experience and a broad range of services. Our service is simple to engage, with a low monthly cost. You save time and money on the hassles of hiring, training, and resourcing a designer in-house, or sifting through options before engaging an expensive agency.
It 100% is. Because the service is subscription based (and cancellation is a couple clicks away), it's on us to deliver value, constantly. You'll be pleasantly surprised by how much progress you can make in a month or two.
Because, reasons! Here are a few:
- Subscriptions shift the typical agency incentive from maximising profit per project, to constantly delivering value.
- By removing the overheads associated with account management, we deliver more design for your dollar.

You can stack up as many requests in Trello as you please, and they will be actioned one after another.
Each request will be picked up one after another, and iterated to completion. Typically, each iteration will be delivered in 48 hours, Monday to Friday.
Momentum is a design agency of one. My name is Alan Bauchop. I've worked in design for 30 years. Previously as Creative Director at Timely, I worked with the team as it grew from 10 to 130 people, and helped shape the brand through to the company's acquisition in 2021. My design sweetspot is early-mid stage startups that are in a constant state of growth and development.
Most designs are delivered through Figma, but we use Adobe Suite for various tasks, and exporting for print. If Canva is your deal, we can work with that too.
We get it! As a startup, your needs may fluctuate from one week to the next. When you pause your account, the remainder of days in your monthly billing cycle are held until you unpause your account again.
Example: if you pause halfway through a 30 day billing cycle, you'll have 15 days of design time to use later on. You will not be billed again until that time has been used in full.
Please note: you must use the balance of your subscription within 12 months of your initial purchase.
No problem. Once we've delivered that design, pause your account until your next project is ready.
Scale up your account with additional subscriptions and power through a crunchy deadline. We offer a 10% discount for each additional work pipeline. The same rules around pausing and cancellation apply to each individual subscription.
Because we aim to deliver a design (or iteration) every 48 hours, larger projects may need to be split into smaller tasks. Consider these scenarios:
- Website design
1. This project starts with a research project / moodboard so we have shared confidence in the design direction.
2. Typically, we start by designing the homepage.
3. We move onto design sprints for the other pages, delivering a 1-2 pages at a time.
Each of these 3 tasks are separate deliverables within your flow of requests. - Logo / brand design
1. We research your competitors and audience.
2. Moodboard your brand's creative landscape.
3. Design a set of logo options.
4. Finished logo with example applications, e.g. social accounts, t-shirt, business card.
5. Light-weight brand reference with colours, typography etc.
Each of these 5 tasks are separate deliverables within your flow of requests.
We'll pick up your feedback and iterate on the design until you are satisfied.
Due to the time invested and high quality nature of the work, there will be no refunds issued.
If AI helps us deliver higher quality results for our clients, faster, then for sure we're using the heck out of it.
But to be clear, Momentum is absolutely not a front for some AI-outsourced design factory. Rest assured that 100% genuine human toil goes into each exquisite, hand-crafted piece of design.
